Goooooooood morning buttercup! And happy Friday. How was your week?? It was pretty good around here other than the fact that I felt like poo for most of the week. I just couldn’t shake that crummy, run down feeling I had towards the end of last week. But thankfully I started feeling back to normal yesterday, which I am SO grateful for. I tell ya, it isn’t until you start feeling bad that you realize how great it is to feel healthy. You know what I mean? Even just a pesky little cold can knock you down for a few days. But I’m back to my normal shenanigans now and thankful that the weekend is here. For today’s Friday Favorites I’m excited to share with you guys a few oldies, but goodies. You’re probably wondering what in the heck I mean by that, right? Well, I’m talking about things I have purchased for our home or for myself that I absolutely love. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite goodies that are currently on sale or finally back in stock after being sold out for a while. These are also things I get lots of questions about here on the blog and over on Instagram, so I hope this is helpful!
First up is my bedding. I raved about it in this post a while back. Well I’m still LOVING it and I’ve been really happy with the quality. The comforter has held up great through several washings. I have it in the color sand and it’s been sold out on Overstock for a loooong time now. But I just discovered that it’s also sold an Amazon! And for even cheaper. SCORE. You can find it here.
With the colder weather my skin has definitely needed some extra moisture, so I recently started using my Tula hydrating cream every morning. I always use it at night, but I added it to my morning routine about two weeks ago and I’ve really noticed a big improvement in how my skin looks and feels. Plus it helps improve my skin texture, which is always a priority for me. I absolutely love Tula skincare and this moisturizing cream has become my new favorite. You can see my full skincare routine in this post.
I shared our family command center back in August and at the time these hanging wall baskets were all sold out. I used the medium size baskets for this command center and they’re FINALLY back in stock. Whoot whoot! And at just 10 bucks each, you can’t beat it. See them here.
This week I ordered another one of these farmhouse vanity lights for the basement in our bathroom. I noticed it’s currently marked way down to just $55, so I wanted to snag another one while it’s so cheap. You guys know how much I LOVE this light and I think it will look awesome in that bathroom. We have so much to do down there and it’s definitely not something I plan on tackling until 2018, but at least I’ll have this super cute light when we are ready to go!
Another great sale happening right now is for my vintage inspired chandelier in our breakfast nook. It comes in three different sizes and I have medium, which is currently marked down to 40% off. I’ve loved having this in our breakfast nook over the past couple of months and overall I’ve been really happy with this purchase. You can see more photos of it in this post. And you guys know I always say that changing out your light fixtures is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to transform any space. This light will definitely do that.
It was about this time last year that I did little makeover on our guest bedroom to get it ready for the holidays (you can see it in this post). I updated the room with this gorgeous headboard from Pier 1 and I’ve never regretted it for a second. There really isn’t much to this room, so I wanted the headboard to make a statement and be the focal point. This beauty definitely does that. Pier 1 is currently running a sale on ALL their furniture this weekend and this headboard is marked way down right now.
Lastly I wanted to chat about this oversized chair in our living room, which I always get a lot of question about. This guy is from a local furniture store here in Colorado, but the most similar chair I’ve found online is this one here. It’s a little darker than my chair, but the overall style is basically the same. Plus you can also get it with an ottoman, which our chair has as well (you can see photos of the ottoman in this post). Here are a few other options that are also very similar:
Well that’s a wrap for me today guys. I know lots of you are probably getting ready to spruce up your homes for the holiday season, so I hope this was helpful if you’ve bee eyeing any of these goodies or waiting on something to get back in stock. As always be sure to let me know if you have questions about anything or if you need help finding a specific item, I’m always happy to help!
I have a big exciting update coming next week on our kitchen remodel, so I will see you back here sooooooooooon!! xoxo
