Happy Saturday!! I hope your weekend is off to a relaxing start. I’m popping in quick today to share our BEAMS!! They’re finally done and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve waited months for these and I definitely think it was worth the wait. They’ve added so much character and charm to our home!
I decided to do three large beams in this space–one on either side of the living room/kitchen area and one large one down the middle of the living room. I love how it gives each space a little definition, while also adding tons of texture and warmth!
These are all actually faux beams–they’re hollow in the middle. Unfortunately I don’t know the brand, my contractor ordered them after we looked at some samples. I’ll try to get that info if anyone is interested!
I can’t believe how much these beams have changed this feel of this space!! They’ve given this area some much needed character. And I like how they’re slightly darker than the floor–it’s a really nice contrast and it definitely draws the eye up. I literally waited months for these beams to arrive (we ordered them so long ago!) but it was definitely worth the wait!

I LOVE the beams! I love how they give a definition to the different spaces without closing the spaces off. I also like (at least from the pictures) how the beams match the blinds.
