It’s hard to believe this will be my sixth year sharing Christmas decor here on the blog. My first ever post was a Christmas home tour in 2015. Looking back at those photos makes me cringe a little, but goodness gracious–time sure flies when you’re having fun! It’s crazy to look back and see how much my style has changed over the years. I went from basically only using white decor to now embracing (and loving) lots of color. I’ve definitely evolved and tried new things, which is kinda nice if you think about. I mean, doing the same thing over and over again is boring, right?! I think so. Anyway, I wanted to kick off the holiday season here at SJB with a look at our very colorful Christmas dining room!
Christmas Dining Room
\
I have to say, it sure feels good to see our little dining room all spruced up for Christmas. Even though I didn’t do anything major here, it definitely feels cheery and bright–which is what I love and NEED the time of year. This beautiful table is seriously the perfect spot for Christmas decor! It’s definitely one of my favorite purchases this year.
The green mercury glass trees and the garland are both from Target. And those beautiful mercury glass votives are from QVC. I looooove them. They came with LED candles and a handy little remote.
I wanted to keep the centerpiece super simple and classic, so I used these beautiful wood pillars!
It’s been so much fun to decorate our new home for Christmas. I’m still working on a few things in the basement, but the house is pretty much done at this point. I can’t wait to share more of it with you! Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by today. Hopefully this gives you an idea or two for your own home this holiday season. xoxo

I love your style so much! Thank you for sharing.
Please share tips about hanging wallpaper flawlessly. I purchased some from Anthro, and it’s been sitting there because I’m too nervous to try to hang it!
Oh I might do a whole post on that after the holidays are over!! It was super easy actually.
Loving your house for the holidays! You really get a cozy feeling from the living room and then your dining room is so inviting. I’m so glad you moved the dining room to this area, I just picture it as a great entrance across from your little closet nook. Thank you as always for sharing with us.
YES!! So glad I moved the dining room back in here too. This is where that table belongs!
Where did you get your wire laundry cart?
That’s from walmart actually–here’s the link: https://rstyle.me/+X8bGmbycNqKolcgEXjrcxg
