Farmhouse Style Summer Decor Ideas

You know what? It’s REALLY hard to get in the summer mood when it’s freezing outside. Seriously, we just can’t seem to shake this cold weather malarky and for that reason I’ve had zero outdoor decor to share with you guys. It’s kinda sad actually. But at least we haven’t had snow in a week, so I guess I shouldn’t complain too much, huh? Anyway, the other day I started looking back through some of my favorite summer posts from the last few years, so I thought it would be fun to share my best farmhouse style summer decor ideas with you lovely ladies today. Hopefully this gives you a few ideas for your own home this summer!

First up I have to start with this vintage crib I styled for summer on the back patio last year. I love how this spot came together and I can’t wait to recreate something similar this summer. See the full post here.

Another fun one last year was this farmhouse style summer porch I put together with my Grandma’s old bicycle and a few potted plants. I use that bike every year on our porch during the summer months and I LOVE it. See the full post here.

The summer before that I used the same bike in a more colorful, flower-y front porch. I love how happy this spot looks. I mean, you can’t go wrong with a giant basket of flowers, right?! See it all here.

Remember our patio transformation last summer? Gosh that was such a fun project. We transformed that empty dirt pit next to our house into the coolest little hang out spot. I can’t want to decorate this area soon! See the full post here.

This quick DIY vintage bird cage planter was a fun post last year too. I loved making over that old bird cage with a little spray paint. So easy and cute for summer! See the post here.

What wanna-be-plant-lady doesn’t need an outdoor gardening cabinet?! Last year I transformed this old cabinet into a functioning storage space for all of my extra garden lady things. See it all here.

Have some old pots sitting around? Try giving them a fresh coat of paint and maybe even add on a vintage french seed label. I did this project two years ago and I still love it. See it here.

This simple entryway table was one of my favorite posts last summer. I loved styling that wooden caddy with little faux plants. And you can’t go wrong with some fresh sunflowers for summer. See it all here.

It’s hard to believe I blogged about this farmhouse style potting bench two years ago. That doesn’t even seem possible! This is one of my favorite outdoor decor posts EVER and I kinda want to recreate this entire thing right now. See all the details in this post.
