Easy Summer Kitchen Shelves

Oh man, this weekend was fun. On Saturday I went on a little antiquing trip with my mom and we had the best time just browsing around in a few of my favorite vintage shops. Unfortunately I don’t get to do that kind of thing very often anymore, so it was good for the soul. I always feel inspired after visiting antique shops and this trip was no different. I actually came home and immediately started to style my kitchen shelves for summer. Well technically these are my breakfast nook shelves, but it’s pretty much the same things, right?! I think so. Anyway, I love how they turned out so I wanted to share them with you lovely folks today!

These little shelves are always one of my favorite things to switch up as the seasons change. I love adding in new decor and freshening up this corner. For summer I wanted to have a simple look with a garden vibe. I found the cutest little seed packet storage box on Amazon and it’s definitely the focal point here.

I’m obsessed with this little box. Isn’t it so dang cute?! I love the leather handles and it actually has small compartments too, so I wanted to use those to style a few seed packets and a little faux greenery. I kept it simple, but I think this is the cutest box ever. It also comes in other colors!

These vintage inspired postcards are another fun Amazon find. I thought they’d be perfect for adding in al little touch of vintage charm to these shelves.

I love how these little summer shelves came together. The easy breezy garden vibe is super fun and I can’t get over that seed packet storage box. It’s definitely one of my favorite finds from Amazon ever. I plan on leaving in that exact spot all summer long. Anyway, I hope today’s post gave you an idea or two for own home. I actually have one more little spot here in the breakfast nook to share, so I’ll be back soon for that! xo

Ah man, this would have been a great “Decorate with Me” video for Youtube. Starting with empty shelves, and watching you style them piece by piece. Maybe the next kitchen nook you plan on doing. Show the process and logic behind the way you style your shelves. Have a blessed week, Sarah.

Does your light work? Or is it just there for the appeal?
