Gooooooood morning and happy Monday to you! I’m currently sitting on my back porch, just taking in this beautiful summer day while I get some work done. We leave for Florida on Wednesday (fingers crossed the trip doesn’t get messed up with Tropical Storm Elsa. Eeeeeekkkkkkk!) so I’m trying to buckle down and get tons done today and tomorrow. This is our first big trip with the kids, so we’re all buzzing with excitement over here. Anyway, I wanted to share my easy breezy summer living room with you guys today. I just changed it up and it feels like a whole new room now!
Easy Breezy Summer Living Room
For a while now I’ve wanted to try the living room with this set up–the sofas flanking the fireplace with two accent chairs in the middle. I actually had these chairs on hand already, so it was a super easy swap to make. And I love how it gives this room a more open, breezy feel.
I brought this big ottoman (from Arhaus, but no longer in stock) up from the basement. That’s actually vintage French fabric, which is pretty much to coolest thing ever. I love how it looks in this space!
It’s always fun to mix things up, especially when I don’t have to spend any money and can use things I already have on hand. Woot woot! I love when that happens. Anyway, thanks for having out on the blog with me today. I hope my easy breezy summer living room gives you a few ideas for your own home!
