My Simple + Organized Work Space

Well helllllo there and happy Monday to you!! So how are we all doing with our New Year’s resolutions? I actually have a lot of goals for the new year and one of them is it get back in the habit of waking up before the kids. I was really good about doing this before the holidays, but then I got out of the routine and now I’m majorly slacking. But I definitely notice a difference in how my days go when I don’t make that time, so it’s something I want to get back into pronto. I even have a great little work space in our bedroom, which is my favorite place to sit in the early morning. Anyway, I decided to spruce up my work space for the new year and I’m excited to share it with you guys today!

My Work Space

This is seriously one of my favorite spots in our whole house. I know it’s just a simple little corner, but I LOVE working here. It’s just an inspiring and happy spot with all the natural light. That antique desk is one of my favorite finds too—it was only $40 at one of my favorite antique shops!

One of the things that was really lacking here was storage. Obviously I have zero storage with my antique desk, so I was looking for a small cabinet that could fit in this spot. This one from Walmart is perfect! It’s just the right size for this space and it gives me plenty of storage with the two drawers and lower cabinet. Plus it was very affordable. See it HERE. I also grabbed this cute set of ceramic canisters!

That cute vintage inspired lamp is also from Walmart! See it HERE.

They say a happy workspace is a productive workspace and I definitely think that’s true! I feel so motivated to get back into my early morning routine so I can hang out here with my coffee. Maybe even a yummy donut. Plus this is only about 15 feet from my bed so it’s an easy commute!

Thanks so much for dropping by the blog today. I hope this gives you a few ideas for your own home. Here are a few more organization and office finds from Walmart. They also have a ton of new items to help you live better in 2020!

Thought I would let everyone know right now you can get a 2 pack of the lined black wire baskets for $20.06 in the medium size. Normally the single baskets of this size are $18.27. Love a bargain!
