Simple + Cozy Boys Bedroom
It dawned on me a few days ago that one of the rooms I’ve never really shared here on the blog is my son’s room. I always meant to share it, but I clearly never got around to it. Oopsie! But since we’re about to move in a couple weeks, I figured now would be the perfect time. Plus, I just ordered him a few new things that I’ll be using in his room at the new house too!
I love this little room! It’s just a happy, cozy space and my son loves it. It’s simple, yet fun at the same time and that’s always what I shoot for when I’m designing a space for my kiddos.
My son LOVES to read, so that little bookcase next to this bed has been perfect. And this cute blue and white stripe rug is from Walmart. I wanted something bold in here to bring a little pizazz, plus my son loves blue so it was a perfect choice. This one comes in several sizes, but I love a round rug for a kids’ room. I also love using rope baskets for storing toys. They not only look cute and function as a piece of decor, but they’re super helpful when it comes to keeping toys organized. These white and gray stripe baskets come in a few sizing options and they are super affordable!
My son is a huge fan of maps. He’s always loved them since he was little, so when I saw this cute animal map I had to order it for him. This is part of the Drew Barrymore home collection at Walmart and it’s adorable! Plus the size is bigger than I expected. It’s great for this spot above his bed and the perfect artwork for any kids’ room!
Well there ya have it! I finally shared my son’s simple and cozy bedroom. I hope this post gives you a few ideas for your own home. Be sure to check out more home decor from Walmart–they have tons of affordable options for kids’ bedrooms and playrooms!

Sarah, I love this space so much! Blue + tan together is what I’ve used in my son’s room, too. Where is that comforter/bed quilt from? It looks exactly like something I’ve been searching for!

This content is good, however the last month it has been about as interesting as an old shoe. You’ve really trailed off with your content and it’s becoming hard to continue to follow.
Sarah
> MelindaOuch. I’m sorry you feel that way Melinda. I have a lot going on in my personal life right now, so it’s been difficult to keep up with blog content. I’m doing the best I can.

> MelindaReally Melinda… not necessary to be mean. No one is forcing you to follow so maybe just Unfollow and be happy
Michelle
> MelindaWow. Could you be any more rude? Did you never learn that simple lesson of if you can’t say anything nice- keep your mouth shut?! Or hey- unfollow. No need for rudeness.

> MelindaThen don’t follow her. That’s your choice. Maybe if you cared about the person behind the content you would understand what she’s going through. Why don’t you try to lift her up instead of breaking her down? Point out what you enjoy and move along. Or, what a concept, don’t say anything if it’s going to be nasty. I hope you have a better day and find a way to spread joy instead of hate.
