I realized the other day that one of the spaces I haven’t really shared much is our master bedroom, so I figured why not do a fun little bedroom tour today?! Sunday is a good day for that kinda thing. Plus I always think it’s interesting to see how people decorate their bedrooms. Ours is very neutral, yet cozy at the same time. And it has a high ceiling with tons of natural light! I’m already dreaming of adding beams to this space in 2021.
Okay, let’s kick off this bedroom tour! I just got a new set of side tables from a local furniture store and I LOVE them so much. They give us way more storage compared to what we were using before, which is perfect for all my books! Plus I love how they match our wood floor. (I found a similar one here.)
This view out our bedroom window is one of my favorite things. Those wide open spaces are so calming for my soul. I can’t wait for spring to come so that pasture is bright green!
I just hung these photos of the kids on the wall the other day and I’m so happy they’re finally out of storage. Family photos are the best decor in my opinion. Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by the blog today for my little bedroom tour! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. xo

Quite pretty. Your husband should be included in the photos 😘
Don’t worry, we have another family photo on the glass frame with him. We just liked the idea of this area being me and the kids.
Hi Sarah, I was wondering what the paint color of your bedroom was. Love the way you decorate, so soothing! Blessings to you
So pretty! Do you know the color of your hardwood? I remember you trying to match it before you moved in, but couldn’t remember what it was called 🙂
Yes, it’s from Home Depot. Here’s the link: https://rstyle.me/+b1ZFsa3xxJElxPNk2QBefQ
It looks great! Would you happen to remember what size rug you ordered?
Where are the mountains? If you live in Colorado gotta see the mountains!
Not all of Colorado is mountains. The entire eastern side of the state is plains.
Love the room, especially the side tables! Is there some way to share the name of the local store where you bought them? Maybe they’ll ship or share the name of the manufacturer?
Thanks for sharing.
It’s called American Furniture Warehouse.
Sarah, your bedroom is so pretty. I love it so much. You always give us such inspiring ideas.
I was just wondering where your curtains are from? They fit in perfectly.
Thank you Tricia, those are from Target. I linked them at the bottom of the post. xo
What is your bedroom paint color?
I went back to a previous post and it’s Alabaster by Sherwin Williams.
Hi,
I live in Colorado too and right after I first started following you I’m pretty sure I passed you in the Parker field house- I felt like I was passing a celebrity. Lol.
Love your blog and your new home! 🖤
Beautiful and no clutter thats what i like and thats a view .
Pretty room…very tranquil.
Love the stripped chairs.
Do you find the wood floors are cold in winter?
I would have put the three kids pics centered on the bottom, a pic of hubby with kids like yours, with yours in middle. Cute pics!
Hi Sarah,
I just discovered your website. I love it all. I decided I need to work on my bedroom which is always a catch all. It is my goal to declutter and make it calm. I love that you have a link to everything!! so helpful.
Such a beautiful room! Looks so cozy! Love this space ♥️
Love everything about your bedroom!! So cozy & what a beautiful view outside!! I was wondering about your beautiful flooring. I am looking for something to change out my carpet upstairs & think yours is BEAUTIFUL! Appreciate any tips you can give me.
I love the room!! Very peaceful! I love the area rug. What do you think about putting an area rug over carpet as that is what my bedroom currently has? This rug would be perfect with my current colors.
So pretty and serene. Those views!!
Beams would look amazing.
Hi Sarah- I live in Broomfield. Can I ask where you got the cute side tables in your bedroom? Your bedroom looks like a great sanctuary! Love it !

Your posts make me so happy! Your decorating is so inspiring and love how you put things together so well. I would love to know where your bedroom area rug is from. I’m thinking for my family room area and think it might be a perfect color. Thank you so much for keeping all of us up to date with your treasures. So glad you post where to get your products from.
I love your home decor! Everything is so versatile and you do such a great job repurposing and moving things around! Inspiring 💗
I love your bedroom! So clean and uncluttered! You must have huge closets to not need dressers or chest of drawers. My bedroom is a hot mess of clutter right now. I really need to carve out some time to get organized and declutter.
Love all the natural light. So bright and cheery. Your side table are really nice. The color matches so we’ll.
beautiful! love your bedside tables
Love how your home is coming together so quickly. One question… I’ve noticed one or two other people I follow have their bedside lamps on the far side of the nightstands. I always wonder how you turn them on and off at night…. we are avid readers and go to bed with a book (or Kindle) every night, having to get out of bed to turn out the light is no go for us. I wonder… do you have yours on a remote switch? Timer? Don’t read in bed or get up at night? I like the way it looks with the lamps of the far side, but not sure how it functions…. help a woman out!
haha that’s a good question! I just get up and turn it off, but you’re right. It would be way better on the other side of the table!
I love how you have different styles mixed together…country-ish, traditional, contemporary, industrial. ..yet cohesive. I think if you like something, it will work! Also…another comment asked about lamps on far side of bedside tables….curious minds want to know! How do you turn them off without getting out of bed?
Is your bliss throw the pink beauty or pink peony? Thanks!
I believe it is peony!
