For as long as I can remember, every summer my mom would make the most delicious (and easiest!) dessert ever–frozen mud pie. We had it for birthdays, BBQ’s, pool parties, and everything in between. It was our go-to summer treat and it’s still a family favorite to this day! Plus it’s super easy to make and only takes four ingredients. If you love ice cream, you have to give this a try!
Frozen Mud Pie Ingredients
- Oreo crust
- Hot fudge
- Cookies & cream ice cream
- Mini M&M’s (if you’re into that kind of thing)
Place scoops of ice cream in the the Oreo crust and flatten with a spoon. Once you have a thick layer of ice cream, add a layer of hot fudge–almost like you’re frosting the ice cream with hot fudge. Really layer it on there!! Then if you like, finish off with mini M&M’s, sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc. Place in freezer for an hour and enjoy!
I told you, this is the easiest summer dessert ever. It only takes a few minutes to throw together and it’s sure to be a hit with 99.928372% of people. Also I wanted to mention that I ordered my goodies for this mud pie the other day from Walmart and I did Walmart’s Online Pickup & Delivery. I always do pickup, but they also have the delivery option too if you live close enough to a Walmart store. I shared all about how to do an online order in this post, but it’s seriously so easy and super convenient. And you can get more than just groceries too–you can pickup just about anything the store is in stock, groceries, clothes, diapers, household products, etc. There just has to be a $35 minimum for your order. Anyway, it’s awesome. Highly recommend!!
