I don’t know about you, but getting groceries is one of my least favorite household “chores”. Especially with the way things have been in the world over the least year, I have come to LOVE the convenience and ease of picking up my groceries at the store, without ever leaving my car. It’s seriously the best thing, especially if I have little people tagging along with me. Anyway, I thought it might be helpful to share a quick post on how to do a pick-up order at Walmart. I’ve been taking advantage of this service for a while now and it’s pretty life changing!
How To Do a Pick-Up Order at Walmart
- Start HERE. This is where you can choose whether you want to pick up your order (and select a time slot) or have it delivered to your home. You’ll also be given the chance to choose your local Walmart location.
2. Start shopping. Add any items you need to your cart! This can include groceries, clothes, diapers, household products, etc. Anything they have in stock can be picked up! There just has to be a $35 minimum for your order.
3. Head to the store at your pick-up time, park in the designated pick-up spots (usually on the side of the store) and call the number on the sign and let them know you’re ready.
MY REVIEW + THOUGHTS
I’ve been doing pick-up orders at Walmart for a while now and I’ve always had a good experience. It’s SO much easier than shopping in the store–especially if I have a lot of errands to run. The whole pick-up process takes about 10 minutes, so it’s super easy to add this into my to-do list. And I have to say, with every order I’ve ever picked up, they’ve always been great to make sure everything is correct and good to go. Even when I’ve ordered produce, they really do an awesome job at picking the fresh stuff! And when something isn’t available or out of stock, they substitute with one of my preferred substitutions. Plus did I mention it’s FREE?! Free is good.
I have to share this cute salt and pepper shaker I got for $6! So stinkin’ cute. I also got some spring dishtowels in my order and a few of these pretty bowls. Anyway, if you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend putting in an order for pick-up at your local Walmart. I pinky promise you will love it. They also do delivery too!
