My Favorite Christmas Tree + More Affordable Options
Well it’s happening. I’m getting the itch to start decorating for Christmas. I know I’m way behind compared to some of you (my Instagram feed is exploding with Christmas decor) but I just haven’t felt the need to start yet. And I gotta say–it’s really nice to just relax until the mood hits. Some years I start early and some years I wait a bit longer, but my motto is always the same–do it when you feel ready and when it brings you JOY. That’s what matters the most, right? Right. Anyway, today I wanted to share a quick roundup of some affordable flocked Christmas trees, including my personal favorite tree EVER. I’ve had this gorgeous 7.5 foot tree for two years now and it’s seriously the prettiest artificial tree I’ve ever ever seen. Plus, it’s super budget friendly. Here’s a photo of it from last year:
My Favorite Christmas Tree

Gah! I just adore this tree so much. It’s pre-lit with warm white LED bulbs and they’re round like little snow globes, which I LOVE. And best of all, the flocking does not come off with this tree, so it doesn’t make a huge mess. It’s just incredible and I can’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for a great tree. My mom even has the same one! I actually decided to order the exact same tree in the 9 foot size for our living room here at the new house. I think it will be gorgeous with the high ceilings. Then I will put this 7.5 tree in our basement this year. I also snagged two of the 4.5 foot trees too! I couldn’t help it–this is the BEST CHRISTMAS TREE EVER.

I agree, Sarah. Your tree is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing your new home decorated for Christmas so hoping you get “the itch” to start soon, but also understand the need to relax for now and enjoy the beautiful job you and your husband have done in your home. I love your blog, Sarah. It brings me much joy.

LOVE the tree! Can’t wait to see the new house decorated! Super cozy. And also can’t wait to see the snowy scenes out those beautiful windows! Have a great Thanksgiving, Sara! We all have alot to be thankful for this year!

What about those of us who aren’t fans of flocked trees! I just like good ol’ green trees and it seems like none of the bloggers I follow do a green tree! I’d actually like to see a poll of your followers that have a flocked tree – am I the only one?? I don’t know any friends or family that have flocked trees so it doesn’t seem to be like the average person. Or maybe it’s just the midwest and Virginia that don’t do it! I’m not sure… love your stuff but really would like to see someone decorate a green tree:)

> Kyle StievaterNo flocked trees at my house, but I do think they are pretty. I’ve thought about trying to flock one myself, but I hate to ruin a good tree, plus I’ve heard that the DIY kind are extremely messy. I will probably just continue to admire Sarah’s pretty trees!
