This month I spruced up my office with a new paint color, light fixture and some new decor. We already had bookshelves installed a few months back, check out this post for that project, but I felt like it still needed a little extra something–a little more pizazz to bring it all together. Here’s how it looked when we first moved in:
We added the built-in bookshelves in December:
The bookshelves were SO nice, but it still felt a little blah to me, so I decided to add a little color back into the room with this dark green paint and oh my goodness–what a difference!
I absolutely love how this turned out! The paint color I used was Lemon Leaves by Magnolia It’s the perfect dark green–not too cool and not too warm. I also added this rug from Amazon, this light fixture from Pottery Barn, and my horse print (purchased at a local boutique). Such a cozy, inviting space now!
