Girls’ Room with Rattan Daybed
You know what’s interesting about living in a new house? I feel like it takes MONTHS to really figure out what works best in each room. The furniture that worked in your living room at the old house might not work in your living room at the new house. In fact, chances are it won’t work and it will take some time to figure out. That’s definitely been the case over here–we’ve just passed the one year mark in this house and I’m still trying to figure things out. Aves room in particular has been a space that just wasn’t jiving. It’s a tiny room, so her old bed never quite fit in there. It was too big and took up too much space. So for a while now I’ve wanted to get a daybed and we finally did this past week! I’m excited to show you how it looks now:
How CUTE is this daybed?! I love it so much. It’s from World Market and I’ve been eyeing it for a while now. And best of all it totally opens up her room now so there’s twice as much space to play. The rust colored pouf is also from World Market and the pink rug is from Target.
My favorite part of this room is still the pink floral wallpaper. It totally brings this room to life!
I’m so glad we made this little swap! Aves room feel SO much bigger now–I really should have done this months ago. But better late than never, right?! Right. Well thanks so much for stopping by the blog!! I hope this gives you an idea or two for your own home. xoxo
