Friday Five: Spring Pillows, Survey Results + More

TGIF!! Holy smokes, we made it. It was a long week over here with sickness floating around, snow storms, and to-do lists out the wazoo, but we made it and that’s what counts! And good news–I think we’re getting a teeny tiny break from all the snow this weekend. I’m crossing my fingers because mama needs some sunshine and mildy warm temperatures in order to stay sane. Or at least somewhat sane. Anyway, I wanted to share a fun Friday Five post today!! I’m chatting about some very cute spring pillows, a reclaimed wood pitcher, and my reader survey results. It’s going to be riveting. Let’s jump into it!

Floral Spring Pillows

This week I started adding a little spring decor to the living room and I brought these floral pillows out of storage. I got these last year and I still LOVE them. They have a really pretty vintage vibe. And they’re actually still in stock!! Plus they’re on sale right now. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some affordable spring pillows. Also this gorgeous white chenille pillow is also super pretty for spring. And it comes in three colors. See it HERE.

Reclaimed Wood Pitcher

I just have to share this reclaimed wood pitcher I recently got because it’s seriously the coolest thing ever! It looks and feels like something from the early 1900’s. I love the antique look! See it HERE.

Survey Results

First of all, I want to thank all of you that took the time to complete my reader survey! I truly appreciate your feedback and it really does help me get a better understanding of who is reading my blog. I know some of the questions might seem a bit odd, especially those related to income and employment, but all of that data is very useful when it comes to working with brands and providing them with demographics on my readers. It’s also incredibly helpful for me to see what content you guys enjoy the most here on the blog and what you’d like to see improved as well. I really enjoyed getting to know you all a little better, so I thought it might be fun to share some of the survey results today!

Love all your posts, Sarah! You are amazing! I have a question about the birdcage in the background of your pillow picture. I have a similar birdcage and don’t know what to put inside it. I see you have some faux plants inside yours (super cute), but what are they on? Thanks!

Hi, Sarah, I guess I must have overlooked the survey somehow, lol, sorry! The spring pillows are lovely! I ordered the camo bomber jacket in both colors that you shared from your Wal-Mart haul last week, and it is awesome! Such high quality workmanship, I was very impressed! I generally have issues with jackets fitting because I have heavier upper arms, but these were plenty roomy in the arms and I love the bit of stretch. They are a little cropped for my taste, but I think I can make them work wearing them layered over a longer top. I feel Wal-Mart has really stepped up their fashion game. I’ve found things in the store lately I really like, including a utility jacket similar to the one you shared (mine is shorter without the bottom pockets). I also bought some cute sweatshirts from Target that you shared recently and love them! Thanks for sharing!
