Gooooood morning buttercup and happy Tuesday to you!! I woke up early this morning to work on this post, but our internet was being wonky so I got to spend the first twenty minutes of the day sorting that out. I’m actually really bad with technology, so in general when things go wrong I have no idea what to do. I just know my basics and I don’t really stray too far from that or I end up lost and confused. But thankfully I was able to give the internet people a call and they fixed it right up! Thank goodness for the Internet people. Anyway, with our move getting closer, I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite spaces in our home one last time. Kinda like a mini home tour of my favorite rooms! And today I want to share my boho style vanity desk in our bedroom. This is just a simple little spot, but it’s truly one of my favorite corners in our home!
Boho Style Vanity Desk
When I put this space together, I designed everything around this gorgeous mirror. I loved the idea of using it to create a vanity desk in our bedroom, so I paired it with this vintage desk and I think the combo is perfect. There’s just something about pairing old and new that I love! And it turns out, I actually used this as my “office” all the time, especially after I added that little storage cabinet. I spent countless hours at the spot working on the blog, editing photos, reading my Bible, etc. It was definitely one of my most practical spaces!
I’m such a fan of round rugs. I don’t think they get the attention they deserve! But they really do have a great way of pulling together a small space like this one. It’s only five feet wide, but it’s just enough to give this area a little extra coziness and texture. This exact rug is from Target and there are a few new color options now. Here is another super similar option for a great price!
I’m not sure where that mirror will end up at the new house, but you’ll definitely be seeing it again. I have a few ideas in mind. Heck, I might even just re-create this exact spot in our new bedroom! Because the truth is, you don’t need a lot of space to create something beautiful (and functional!).
Thanks so much for hanging out with me on the blog today!! I hope you enjoyed my little boho style vanity desk and maybe even got a few ideas for your own home. Here are a few more posts you might want to check out while you’re here:

God bless you, have a great day
where can i find that chair?
What a fun, cozy, functional space. I hope to create something like this in our house soon! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!!
Not sure if I can ask you a question here but I would like to paint my husband’s bathroom. I would like to paint it white. The decor is vintage (0ld medicine bottles, razors barber strap). Can you suggest a “vintage white” that would look nice. Browns and beiges are the other colors
I think Rust-Oleum linen white would be great!! If you want more of a yellow-ed white I would go with Old White from Annie Sloan.
Love this corner! Can you please tell me what the blue Inspire book on your desk is? Is it a journal, or inspirational readings? It is a beautiful book! Thank you!
It’s a Bible actually! You can get it on Amazon. Here’s the link: https://rstyle.me/+C-chzEFaTjYw31Ecnyme3A
Such a beautiful peaceful looking space. I would be spending a lot of time there too! I’ve got that exact same bible!!! I love it ❤️🙏
Loving your little area! I also have an office in my bedroom and I’ve tried to style it where it is functional yet cozy and cute ! I’m still working on it cuz there is always something I can add or take away. But I’m excited to see the end result and enjoy. Thank you for the inspiration!
