Farmhouse Style Flush Mount Lighting

Well my fabulous friends, the day has finally come!! As you sit down this morning to read this post I’m on my way to the airport (and probably freaking out) because I’m leaving for the Silobration at Magnolia Market today. EEEEK! I seriously can’t even believe this is real life right now. I mean, whaaaaaatt? To be honest this whole thing feels totally surreal, but I’m packing up my knickers anyway and headed off to Waco! I still wanted to get a quick post up for you guys today, so I put together a little roundup of farmhouse style flush mount lighting. I’ve actually had a few requests for this post, so I figured now would be a great time to do it. So I sat down yesterday and browsed through a few of my favorite online retailers and I came up with some options for you guys. And per usual, I went with lights that all very affordable, around $100 or less!

It’s kinda crazy how far flush mount lighting has come over the past few years, right? There are lots of great options out there and it’s really such an easy project to swap an outdated “bubble” light for something with a bit more charm and character. And all of these options are very affordable too, so making the switch to one of these lights is a definitely a budget friendly upgrade for any room in your home. Easy and affordable–that’s my favorite kind of project!

Well I hope this helps if you’ve been on the hunt for some purdy new flush mount lighting. Now I’m off to finish packing and get ready for Waco!!! I hope you all have the best weekend and I’ll see you back here Monday! xoxo

Oh why can’t there be any where you can’t see the bulb?! I dislike exposed bulbs.

Wish I was going to Waco too! Love the lights! We are getting ready to build a house so I need ideas! But first, I need some decorating ideas for the house I have to sell! Especially the fireplace mantel that has a big black framed mirror over it, for any ideas?

We just went to Waco about 3 weeks ago. I read your post on pointers when visiting Magnolia, which was very helpful! Especially the timing of events. We went to the bakery super early so there was hardly any wait at all. What was really nice is that we were in walking distance of the Silos. We rented a loft at 714 Green Door Lofts, down town, that was in the industrial farmhouse challenge of season 5. It was not the one selected for the fixer upper episode but it was featured as one of the selections. We also went to McGregor, TX to see the Magnolia Bed & Breakfast and we went to Jimmy Don’s shoppe. We got to meet him and he is the nicest guy ever! So enjoy, enjoy your trip! Can not wait to read your blog upon your return.

  • Home from my hair appointment & I practically begged my husband to stand outside in a freezing (and windy) snow storm to snap a few photos of me. We somehow managed to get one decent shot, but you have to swipe right to see the outtakes #weareprofessionals 🤣🤣 happy Friday guys!! 🙌🏻 http://liketk.it/2zpyb #liketkit @liketoknow.it
  • This afternoon I planned to work during nap time, but instead I spent an hour laying in bed with this girl chatting about how she’s going to have a house right next door to me when she grows up. We talked about how we’re going to be best friends forever & about how she loves the color pink. I snapped this photo to send to my husband & I had no plans of posting it here, but this is a moment I wish I could stay in forever. This is what I live for & it’s these simple moments that fill my soul & put everything into perspective for me. Motherhood is such a gift—the good days, the hard days & everything in between. I’m so grateful for it all. ❤️
  • It was nice enough to have the windows open this afternoon, so I happily soaked in all that sunshine & fresh air. Is it too soon to get excited about spring?!☀️🙌🏻 In other news I’ve been organizing & cleaning like a mad woman today. I just finished our cabinets/pantry & they look SO much better. Next up is the fridge, I’m just working up the courage to go in there. Maybe I’ll leave that job to my husband 🤣🤣 Who else is organizing all the things right now? 🙋‍♀️ http://liketk.it/2znnE #liketkit @liketoknow.it #LTKhome
  • Someone wasn’t a fan of napping today, so we’re currently listening to Daddy Shark for the 324th time & counting down the minutes til bedtime. But dang that little smile sure is cuuuuuute 😍🙌🏻 http://liketk.it/2zlUc #liketkit @liketoknow.it
  • I spent the day working away in my happy little office & I couldn’t help but think about how lucky I am to do what I love every single day. If you had told me when I first started blogging that I would quit my job & still be doing this three years later I would have laughed. I never thought this would be possible for me, but here I am & it’s happening. God is good 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store! http://liketk.it/2zkXX @liketoknow.it #liketkit
  • What. A. Day. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I just got home from the @oldhousevintagemarket, where I got to spend the whole day browsing antiques & hanging out with one of my favorite humans @lizmariegalvan. We did a fun Q&A session this afternoon with @whitecottagefarm & it was such an honor to sit next to this woman that I’ve admired & respected for so long. ✨
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see us! The whole day was amazing & I’m going to bed tonight with a grateful heart. ❤️🙏
