You guys, I can’t even contain my excitement for today’s post because I have some ammmmmmmazing news to share with you all! Remember about a week ago when I mentioned that something BIG happened, but I couldn’t quite share the details yet? Well, I can spill the beans now! I was invited by the amazing folks at KILZ to attend the Silobration at Magnolia Market later this month!! Eeeeek! Cue the happy dance. Seriously, I cannot believe I just typed out those words. Is this real life right now? It feels totally surreal because you guys know how much I love Magnolia Market and of course Chip and JoJo. I visited last year and fell in LOVE with the place, so to have the chance to go again for such an exciting event totally feels like a dream come true.
For any of you not familiar with it, the Silobration is Magnolia’s annual event in Waco, Texas that features an AMAZING vendor fair, food trucks, daytime activities, and two concerts. This year Drew Holcomb and Johnnyswim will be performing, which I am SO excited about! It’s basically like a two day celebration with shopping, good food, and music. What’s not to love, right?! I’ll be at the Magnolia Home Paint booth hanging out with the awesome folks at KILZ and I can’t wait to see what they do for their booth this year. I know they’ve had some really fun and interactive activities in the past, like pumpkin painting and a paint by numbers mural.
You all know that Joanna Gaines came out with her very own paint line with KILZ, which includes 25 Market Collection colors, premium interior and exterior paint, and trim and cabinetry paint. There’s even an amazing line of chalk style paint too. I’ve used it on several projects now and I love it–I wrote a whole post about it here if you want to check it out. Basically the Magnolia Home paint line has paint for just about any project in your home.
The last time I was at Magnolia Market I was very pregnant, as you can see in the photo below, but it was honestly such an amazing experience. I wrote about the impact it had on me in this post and I talked about how being there inspired me in SO many unexpected ways. It inspired me to chase my dreams, live without fear, and to trust God fully, even when the path ahead is unclear. It was a very moving experience to say the least. And now, to go back to this place I love for such an incredible event like the Silobration is truly an honor. I’m still in shock to be totally honest with you, but sooooooo grateful to KILZ for this opportunity.

Too bad I live so far away but someday I will go to Texas. I live in Canada so it is a very long trip. I am working on my hubby for a trip next year…lol

My husband was going to take me this October for our anniversary, but Baylor has a home football game and we figured it would be crazy busy at the Magnolia Market that weekend…hopefully we will plan a trip sometime soon though. So excited for you Sarah!!!! I wondered if you had announced the big SECRET yet. I kept looking but just happen to be up late and open your email and there it is!!! I’m going to check you out on Instagram if I don’t forget the date. I would love to go and see everything Chip and Jo have done for their community, even thou it is their business, a lot of people have becomed employed and working and that is a good thing for any town. Omgeee! You will get to meet Chip & Jo too! I went to spring Silobration this past May and the venders I spoke with said they got to meet them at a meeting before opening!! And you will get to eat at their restaurant this time! It is beyond wonderful! Every single thing about is perfect. I’m SO jealous and SO happy for you!! Your blog about about your first trip helped me plan out my trip when I went! Can’t wait to read all about this trip!
