Cozy Fall Patio + 12 Fall Doormats

We just got home from a little weekend road trip to visit my sweet grandma. Our entire family got together to celebrate her 93rd birthday. Isn’t that amazing?! NINETY THREE years old. She’s seriously one of the sweetest humans on the planet and it was such a fun weekend celebrating her and spending time with family we don’t get to see very often. Anyway, we’re back home now and I’m so excited to share my cozy fall patio! I actually worked on this space right before we left on our trip and I loooooove how it all came together. I’ve also rounded up twelve fall doormats at the end of the post too!!

That white vintage stool was a lucky find a few years back. I found it at one of my favorite antique shops for something like thirty bucks. Total score! I had flowers sitting on it this summer, but I love how it looks with a few pumpkins! Each little step is the perfect size.

This little space on our black patio is always one of my favorite spots to decorate as the seasons change. This year for fall I decided to pile it up with lots of fairytale pumpkins (those are my all time favorite) and a few mums for a pop of greenery and color. I also used these large velvet orange pillows from Target–don’t they match the pumpkins perfectly?! BOOM.

This antique crib turned “couch” is still one of my all time favorite projects ever. (Check out this post to see how we made it.) I have a crib mattress under that quilt and it’s surprisingly comfortable! And you better believe I’ll be sitting in this spot as much as possible over the next few weeks before the cold and snowy weather start rolling in. I’m sure it won’t be long now for us Colorado folks.

Now here are a few fun and festive fall doormats I rounded up!

  • Mom finished her first 10k 🙌🏻🙌🏻 It was such a fun day & I’m honestly so glad I decided to challenge myself & do this. Sure, it was only 6.2 miles, but this race (and all of my running leading up to it) was one of the first things I’ve done for myself in a loooooong time. My health has totally been on the back burner since having my third baby. But three months ago I started running to help with my anxiety & worry-about-all-the-things syndrome. I fell in love & it’s been SO good for me. Running is one of my favorite things to do now 👏🏻👏🏻 I want to encourage all of my fellow mama’s out there to make time for yourself. Do something for YOU. Take the class. Book the ticket. Go for the run. You are worth it! ❤️❤️
  • Cheers to the weekend, coffee in bed + sunshine in the forecast 🙌🏻☀️ Our snow is melting, which is GOOD news because my first 10K is tomorrow. Eeeek! Fingers crossed I can make it through with my old lady hip🏃‍♀️💨Happy weekend buddies! ❤️ http://liketk.it/2FL0i #liketkit @liketoknow.it #ltkhome
  • Breaking News: It snowed in Colorado today ❄️❄️ Normally I’d be less than thrilled about this kind of thing, but I figure why not have a little fun. Sometimes you just gotta accept what you can’t change & make the best of it, right?! Besides, doing a live weather report in the freezing snow is pretty fun. (watch my stories if you missed it!) Happy almost-weekend buddies! ❤️
  • It’s totally normal to carry around a pumpkin in October, right?! And by normal I mean awkward. Because that’s what I do best. Clearly. 🙈 I shared a quick decorate with me video in stories yesterday + we styled this cabinet for fall 🍂🍂 I also have a new blog post up today & it’s 10 affordable fall finds from Amazon. I found some GOOD stuff + it’s all super affordable. Head to the blog to check it out! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 http://liketk.it/2FFiR #liketkit @liketoknow.it #LTKhome
