Cozy Boho Inspired Corner in the Basement
Happppppy Super Bowl Sunday! I don’t know about you, but I’m SO excited for today’s game. We’re big football fans over here, so today is always a fun celebration. We make all the food, stay in cozy clothes and just enjoy the day to the fullest. I love it! Anyway, today I wanted to pop in quick to share a cozy boho inspired corner in our basement. I was playing around in this area yesterday and re-styled it all. Remember that swing we installed when the basement was finished? I loved it, but I’ve always felt like something was missing in that spot. I’ve been looking for something big to hang on the wall behind the swing and I finally found it yesterday at the cutest little local boutique!
Cozy Boho Inspired Corner in the Basement

Ok how awesome is that huge canvas?! I found this at the cutest little decor boutique yesterday and I couldn’t resist it. That quote is so special and it’s actually from Winnie the Pooh! Plus it’s huge. I’ve never seen a wall canvas this big (it’s on Etsy HERE). I love it, plus it fits in this spot perfectly. Then I added this wooden bench I’ve had sitting in storage since we moved. I’m smithed with how it all came together.

I love how this round rug adds a bit of extra pizazz to this spot too! That rug comes in several color options, but I think the combo of black + jute is so pretty.

I feel like this corner finally looks complete now. That canvas was the missing puzzle piece for sure! And it’s still so surreal to remember that not too long ago this was an empty hole with nothing but concrete. Finishing our basement was kinda at the time, but I’m SO glad we decided to go for it. I absolutely love it and it adds to space much to our home. Anyway, thanks for dropping by the blog today. I’m off to get my chicken wings started. Enjoy your day!

Very well-styled photo. Love the quote on the canvas, different take on wall art. But how functional, meaning comfortable and usable, is the wall swing?
