One of my goals as we’ve been unpacking the house over the last week has been to get all of the kids’ bedrooms organized and put together. I really wanted the kids to feel like they had a little space of their own that was finished and cozy! We made that a priority the first day we moved in and so I wanted to share how each of their rooms are looking now. We still have a few things to do, but for the most part their rooms are done. Today I’m sharing my girls bedroom, which is super colorful and cozy!
Choosing a Color Palette
It’s obviously very pink and bright in here! My older daughter is obsessed with all things pink, so that’s what we went with for this girls bedroom. I love it and now I kinda want to put her pink curtain in my room too!
Adding Decor to the Girls Bedroom
Since the girls have their own rooms now (see their shared room at the old house HERE), I needed a new nightstand for my older daughter. I ordered this one from Walmart and I LOVE it. It came pre-assembled, which was awesome considering how much we have going on right now. It also came with different colored discs for the little handle there, so we can switch those out if she wants to change it later on. The oval mirror hanging on the wall was my grandma’s–we just painted it purple!
Striped rope basket linked HERE.
Remember my egg chair!? I actually have two of these now–I just love them so much. My daughter was begging me to use one in her room to create a cozy little reading corner. She is obsessed with this spot already!
This pink rug is also from Walmart. It’s actually wool, so I know it will be super cozy when winter rolls around! We got the 6×9, but it comes in several different sizes.
I had this set of fruit artwork in our playroom at the old house and I was so excited to use them again in this room. I just love all the bright colors.
Blush pillows here // Unicorn stuffy here
I seriously love how this room came together–it’s so bright and happy! My daughter adores all the fun colors and it’s definitely a happy little space for her to enjoy.
Well thanks so much for stoping by today–can’t wait to share more of the house with you soon!! xo

How has it been for your girls adjusting to separate rooms?
Sweet memories for them to make, designing like their mama in their own space. So much fun!!! ❤️
Awww…this is so adorable! I love the swing chair in the corner. How fun!
You are so gifted at putting pretty things together! Thanks for wonderful ideas!
What’s the paint color in your new house? We’re about to paint and there’s so many whites! What’s a girl to do!!! 😉
Sarah, the room is darling! I’m sure she’s thrilled! I can’t wait to see what else you do with the house.🤗
Oh my goodness, so pretty! I think my college age daughter would love one of those egg chairs! Thanks for sharing!
By the way, where did you get the egg chair? I don’t see a source for it. Thanks!
Where did the bench at the foot of your daughter’s bed come from?
That is actually two little benches I put together. And they’re from Hobby Lobby. I found them about a year ago!
Ok, now I’m inspired. I absolutely want to complete decorating our little apartment now! It looks so happy and inviting in her room. Thanks for sharing 😉
