Our Christmas Home Tour: Part One
How is Christmas less than 2 weeks away? Seriously, time just zips by at lightening speed. I wish it would slow down so we could really savor this season. I just love it all–baking, family traditions, and celebrating the birth of our Savior–it’s definitely my favorite time of year.
I’m so excited to share with you my very first Christmas home tour (and the first Christmas in our new home!) Today I’m featuring our living room, breakfast nook, and kitchen.
Enjoy!
I wanted our mantel to be super simple this year. I just love old spindles and the touches of burlap. And this vintage book page banner is probably my favorite thing ever. Ok, maybe not ever, but pretty darn close.
Here’s the hallway leading into our living room. This is actually the bottom of an old screen door. I needed the top half for a project in my dining room (sharing that soon!) so we had to cut the bottom of the door off. Of course I wasn’t going to throw it away, so this is where it ended up. And you know I had to spruce it up with a little fresh garland!
This is my favorite room in our home. It’s just so cozy and I love the way it feels all dressed up for Christmas.
Now let’s move into the breakfast nook.
I absolutely adore this little nook, especially after we planked the walls. Go here for my tutorial!
Now into the kitchen.
That’s it for my Christmas tour of the living room, breakfast nook, and kitchen. Stay tuned for part two!
