Bookshelves in the Front Room!

The bookshelves in the front room/family room are DONE! And holy smokes they look so good. They add a ton of character to this room and I’m really happy with how they turned out. I wanted this space to feel like a cozy reading room and it definitely has that vibe now. I’m excited to share a bunch of photos with you! Here’s how it looked before:

And how it looks now:

We used Closet Factory Colorado to build these bookshelves for us. I love their process because it’s so easy–they come out to measure, build the cabinets off-site, then come back to install in a few weeks. It legit takes one day for everything to get installed and there is very minimal mess. Plus I feel like their prices are better than hiring a contractor. We also hired them for the built-in dresser in my daughter’s room. And the bookshelves in my office, which I’ll share soon. Highly recommend!

I debated doing white for these cabinets, but I’m glad I went with this light blonde tone. It warms up the space really well! Plus we can always paint them down the road if we want to change things up. Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by the blog to check out our bookshelves in the front room. Let me know if you have any questions!!

PS: the swivel chairs are from Wayfair! (come in a set of 2)
