Bedroom Update + A Few Good Finds

I’m baaaaaaack!! Yippeeeee!! Things have been a little quiet around here lately because I was out of town most of the week. I actually went to visit my parents for a few days to help them with a coupe of things, so I was pretty MIA for the most part. I totally meant to get a post up yesterday but it just didn’t happen. When I got back home I was completely exhausted and way too tired to create anything worth reading. I honestly hate when that happens because I really try to have new and fresh content here for you guys as much as possible. But sometimes life just gets crazy and it doesn’t happen. I know you guys understand and I thank you for that! You are seriously the best people and everyday I’m grateful to have your support and kindness. It means the world to me! Ok, let’s get on to today’s post, because I have a few fun things to share, including an update in our bedroom and a few recent finds that I bet you’ll love. Grab your coffee and let’s gooooooooo.

So after many, many months of drooling over all the calligraphy scrolls I was seeing on Pinterest, I finally have my very own. And she’s a beauty! This is the large Let’s Stay Home scroll from Cottonwood Shanty and I am basically obsessed with it. I tried it in a ton of different places around the house, but I ultimately decided it looked best here in our bedroom.

I actually cut this garland in half and then used the two pieces to add a bit of greenery to the scroll. I wasn’t sure if it would be able to hold up the weight of the garland, but it’s actually quite sturdy. Worked like a charm!

A few weeks ago I picked up these booties and I have been looooooooving them. I’ve talked about them a few times over on my Instagram stories, but you guys–these are THE BEST. I have wide feet, so it’s pretty hard to find cute booties like this that are actually comfortable. Well these are definitely comfy and I’ve been wearing them a ton lately. Worth every penny. And I love that they can easily be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. I’ve been wearing them a lot with these distressed jeggings, which I’ve also been loving lately.

I was doing a little online browsing this week and I came across this insanely cute armchair. I think this would look fabulous in a farmhouse style living room, office, den, etc. All the places! I completely forgot to get some made last year, so it’s definitely on my to-do list this coming week. • I grabbed this super soft throw blanket last week and I have been loving it. We all have actually. It’s the perfect weight for the colder months and it is definitely a great buy at under 15 bucks.

• I’ve been working on my Christmas shopping lists and this year I’m planning to focus more on quality over quantity. I LOVE IT! It has such an old-fashioned vibe about it, right?! I am completely smitten with it and I know my girls would too. I could see them both playing with this for years and years to come. That’s the perfect kind of Christmas gift if you ask me!
