Back to School–Kids Fashion Picks

I don’t know how it’s possible, but somehow our summer break is already winding down. My two older kiddos start school in just a few short weeks and I can’t even bear the thought of summer being over. Seriously, it makes my heart hurt. I LOVE having my kids home with me every day and I’m just not ready for them to go back yet. Summer is too dang short here in Colorado! Anyway, since school is right around the corner I wanted to share a huge roundup of back to school clothing, backpacks, shoes, etc. I actually found some really great stuff from Walmart and everything is very budget friendly. Hopefully this helps if you have back to school shopping to do!

Thanks to Walmart for sponsoring today’s post!

My boys are your age Sarah, so my comment is not related to children’s clothing but to your instagram feed, as I am not on social media. Just wanted to say you look STUNNING, and no one more deserving of this opportunity than you. Hard working, who has brought me so much joy on my darkest days. Thank you for being you, keep on keeping on. Will purchase and burn your new candle with love. God bless you and your darling family.

Sarah, I respect you a lot, but Walmart? Really? I know the prices are great, but Walmart is unfair to their employees and vendors. I just can’t support Walmart, and I hope you take a look at their policies and the way Walmart treats those mothers, fathers, and those who are trying to support themselves and their families. All Walmart cares about is money; I know you care about a lot more….

Good morning, I don’t usually write comments, but I can’t help myself. I love love love your blog, it is so inspiring, it’s my favorite, but the Walmart posts are not for me. I took a contemporary design class in college, many years ago, and they explained Walmarts business ethics and practices. They have no ethics and treat their employees horribly and their business practices and history are horrible. I haven’t been able to set foot in their stores ever since, and from what I have read, this hasn’t changed over the years!!! This is unfortunate, because they are carrying cute items, but I’ll have to pass. Sorry, to be a downer, but they need to give some love and appreciation to their employees, and their mauntra of all American made items is a hoax. They have grown to be a leading retailer in the US, but it’s unfortunate the way they have gotten there.

    Hi Sarah,
I actually love shopping at WalMart and probably do about 2-3 times per week! I love their affordable clothes for my 2 girls, and they have really gotten to be better quality and more stylish over the past few years. And we have lots of friendly employees that seem to enjoy their job at “my” WalMart! Thanks for sharing and hope your kids have a great back to school experience!! Can’t believe summer is over.
