Wall Sconces in the Guest Room

The other day I was browsing the Target website and I found these super pretty wall sconces from the Studio McGee collection. I’ve been wanting to add a pair to our guest bedroom, so I ordered them and we just got them hung up. I thought these would work perfectly with the black and white wallpaper I put up about a year ago!

The trick with hanging wall sconces over a nightstand is that you don’t want them to be too high. I think the ideal height is about 12 inches above the nightstand for easy access from the bed!

Adding sconces is probably one of the easiest and fastest ways to make any room look more expensive. They just add instant character and charm, but they really are budget friendly. These lights were only $70 from Target, so for less than $150 I was able to give this room a nice little pick-me-up!

If you’re looking for an easy way to spruce up a space in your home, try hanging a couple sconces up. I promise you’ll love it!
