We just had the craziest four day snow storm. I think it was one of the biggest November storms Colorado has seen in like 30 years or something crazy like that. I actually loved it–the kids were home from school most of the week and we just had the best time. We decorated for Christmas, stayed up late, slept in, watched Christmas movies and relaxed in cozy clothes most of the day. It was fabulous. And during that time I was able to work on my Christmas mantle. You guys, I spent over TWO HOURS on this thing. It was definitely a labor of love and I’m so happy with how it turned out. It’s my favorite Christmas mantle to date.
PS: watch the video for how I put this together here.
The vast majority of the decor here is from Hobby Lobby, Amazon, and Michaels! I really believe you don’t have to spend a fortune to create beautiful decor in your home and this mantle is proof of that. The artwork is all from Hobby Lobby. The garland is from Michaels–I love THIS ONE because it’s nice and droopy. I don’t like stiff garland. I used three of them in this look. The eucalyptus garland is from Target last year. The trick to a pretty garland look is to twist two different ones around each other. That way it looks fuller! I also used that wool ball/bead garland, which was $5 from Hobby Lobby.
If you’re planning to do your Christmas mantle soon, I highly recommend grabbing these command core bundlers. They’re perfect for hanging your garland on the mantle. I used 4 for mine.
These stockings are from Arhaus and a few years old. I love how big they are! And the green velvet ribbon I tied on top is from Hobby Lobby.
All of the gold picks are from Hobby Lobby. They also had the prettiest glitter gold feathers that I used too. I love feathers because they remind me of Psalm 91.
These gold bells are from Amazon! I got them last year, but this set is super similar. The tall iron candle holders are also from Amazon.
This Christmas mantle was so much fun to put together! I just took my time and really enjoyed the process. It almost felt like putting a piece of artwork together! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post and got a few ideas for your own home this holiday season!
The mantle is decor is beautiful and looks so lovely framed with the snow on the trees outside!
