Magnolia Market Trip Recap

We just go back from a fun little trip to Texas to visit Magnolia Market in Waco! The last time I was there it was 2018 and boy, so much has changed since then. It’s grown significantly–now there’s the Press Coffee Shop, Magnolia Table restaurant, Hotel 1928, a little restored church, food trucks, shops at the Silos, flower garden, and my favorite–the herbarium. And of course the main market and cupcake bakery. It’s oozing with inspiration in every corner–both for the heart and the home.

It was fun to compare this pic of me now, versus when I visited for the first time in 2017. Pregnant with lil Aves! Read more about the trip here.

Ok back to a few pics from our trip:

My favorite part of the entire trip was doing a Garden Tour with the girls. There are actually several “experiences” available now, include a tour of Chip’s office and you can even tour the place where Joanna films her cooking show. (You can book those on the Magnolia website here!) But the girls and I wanted to do the garden tour, which included a workshop on pressing flowers. It was SO fun. We loved it. And we found out the little herbarium just opened the week before–they had completely renovated it. So we were one of the first to do that experience. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Magnolia Market three times now and everything I leave feeing inspired. This trip we actually visited the little Shop on Bosque, where Magnolia began in 2003, and it was just wild to see this little tiny shop that started it all. Compared to what it all has become, you can’t help but see God woven into their story. I just love it. And it always sparks something deep in my heart to dream big and say yes, even when you don’t know how things will turn out.

Magnolia Market is such a special place and I definitely recommend making the trip if you ever get the chance. I promise you’ll love it! We did three nights and that was plenty of time to see everything. Also if you want to eat the Magnolia Table, I suggest making reservations. They seem to book up fast.

Le the know if you have any questions, I’m happy to help! xo
