One of the things I love about this house is that all the kids have their own rooms. At the old house we only had two extra rooms upstairs and they were pretty small. The girls shared the bigger of the two rooms and they just never did that well together. I know some kids love sharing rooms, but my older daughter is very independent and she really needs her own space. I totally get it because I was the same way when I was a kid! I needed my own space and I enjoyed having my own little room to decorate. Anyway, it’s been really fun to fix up each of the kids’ room and today I’m excited to share how little Aves’ room is looking. It’s simple and sweet!
Isn’t this a sweet little room?! I’m so happy Aves finally has her own room now and she LOVES it in here. It’s definitely her own little space. We might do wallpaper soon, but for now I love how simple and bright it is. This bed frame is one we bought a few years ago, but there’s a super similar one HERE that is even cuter!
Since the girls shared a room at the old house, they also shared a dresser. But now that they each have their own room we needed to buy a new dresser for Aves. We got this one from the Drew Barrymore collection at Walmart and it’s perfect! It’s just the right size for a kids’ room and I love the rainbow-colored discs. Plus, it came fully assembled, which was AMAZING. I hate putting furniture together, so it was really nice to have this come ready to go.
I have to rave about these adorable little dolls because they’re less than 10 bucks and they glow in the dark! Plus, they’re huge so Aves is obsessed with them. These would make such a fun birthday gift or even Christmas gift if you’re thinking that far ahead. The unicorn backrest is HERE.
I always get asked if I get my Walmart finds in store or online and the answer is 100% online! They have a HUGE kids decor and furniture selection online and my personal favorite is the Drew Barrymore Flower Home Kids line. I have so many of her pieces in our home now and I love them all.
