Summer Decor in the Front Room
It’s kinda crazy to say this, but this is probably my last post about our front room. I can’t believe our time at this house is coming to a close soon and I’m definitely feeling all the emotions right now. Of course I’m excited for this new adventure ahead, but I can’t help but feel emotional about leaving our little home I’ve loved so much. I’ve poured my heart into these walls and it’s been our happy place for five years now. We’ve made so many special memories here and I’m beyond grateful for how this house has changed my life. This blog is 100% a result of this house–I never would have started a blog or Instagram account without this little fixer upper. Crazy, right?! God definitely had a hand in that. Anyway, I don’t mean to ramble on–maybe I’ll do a whole post on this soon! But for now let’s get on with today’s post, which is my simple summer decor in the front room. I just rearranged this space a bit and I love how it looks now!
I couldn’t help it–I had to move my new egg chair inside!! I love how it looked on the back deck, but I hated the idea of it getting trashed in the weather. We’ve had tons of wind and rain lately, so it didn’t feel right to leave it out. Now it’s safe and sound inside where it belongs!
I wasn’t sure how to set this room up with the egg chair, little loveseat and two armchairs, but I think this works pretty well. It’s kind of eclectic, which is a fun change for the next couple weeks before we start to move. Plus it has a very fresh, summery vibe now.
