It’s happening you guys! I’m slowly but surely getting my fall decor out. This weekend I spent some time going through all of my fall stash and it definitely got me excited to start busting out those cute pumpkins. This year I want to be really intentional with my seasonal decor and I’m planning to keep things pretty simple. I’m going to focus on just a few key areas of our home and first up is a simple fall front porch!! I don’t know why, but I LOVE the idea of decorating the porch first for fall. It kind of sets the mood for the inside of the home, right? I don’t know if that makes any sense, but I think it’s a great place to start, especially if you’re not fully ready for fall decor inside.
I’m also excited to be sharing my free Fall Guidebook today too! I’ll chat more about that at the end of this post.
Fall Porch Decor
My goal with this little spot was to focus on simplicity. Since we’re only into early September, I didn’t want to load it up with pumpkins just yet. So I went for several colorful mums, a cute pumpkin pillow, and one faux pumpkin. Easy peasy and super simple!
This black metal bench is actually from Target and I snagged it a few months ago. Unfortunately it looks like Target no longer carry this exact one, but I did find a very similar option here. I love this bench on our fall porch–it’s the perfect size!
I plan to add a few real pumpkins to this space in a couple weeks, but for now I am loving this porch. It’s festive and very fall-ish, but simple at the same time. That’s a winning combo, right?! Right. Now I’m excited to share my first ever Fall Guidebook! This is totally free and it’s jam packed with tips on how to transition to fall in your home, an easy DIY, fall decor ideas, AND I’m also sharing the yummiest recipe ever for WARM CARAMEL CRUMBLE!!! So many of you have asked for this, so I hope you enjoy! GET IT HERE. Enjoy!! xoxo
Thanks for sharing your fall front porch. I’m starting to decorate for fall too, which makes the end of summer a little less sad! I’ve been following you for quite a while and am taking some steps to start a blog to go along with my design business
Oh that’s great Deb, go for it!

Where did you get the pumpkin pillow? It is not always easy finding outdoor pillows!
Hi kelly, that’s from Amazon but unfortunately they don’t carry it anymore. But they do have tons of similar options here: https://amzn.to/315DdY4
The link for the guidebook is not working.
Sorry just updated it! Should be working now.
What a great porch! It is the perfect transition for this time of year. I really like the container that you have holding the yellow mums. Is it wood? Did you paint it? Would love to hear all about it…
Thanks.
Great Job!!
Joanna
Hi, Saw a video of Sarah on Instagram this morning and she was shopping Michael’s and purchased it there.
Love what you did with the bench. Where did you find the throw? It’s perfect for transitioning.
Cute porch!! I too started decorating last weekend in the hopes it would encourage cooler weather! Fall is my favorite 🏈🍁 🎃 season. Are your mums real? Are they hard to keep alive? Any tips on real vs live plants, for those who don’t have a green thumb? 🌿🍂🥀
Have a wonderful day!
Love it! What paint colors did you use for your door and the brick?

I love that you placed the wreath on the wall you mentioned. Everything looks beautiful!!
Love fall most of all! 🍂🍁🍂
thanks so much Pat!
Where did you get the wreath? I love the subdued colors. Most of the leaf garland/wreaths are pretty garish–too orange.
That is actually from Michael’s. It’s garland that I turned into a wreath!
Love the simplicity of the pirch. It’s been a rough year but I think this is doable. Love it! xoxo🌾🍂🍁🌻
