Simple Christmas Kitchen
Goooood morning sunshine and happy Monday! I’m currently sitting cozy on the couch after a busy weekend full of Christmas festivities. We actually went to the Gaylord Hotel over the weekend and it was SO much fun. Things were obviously different because of COVID and we were all wearing masks the entire time, but it was a blast. We got to do snow tubing, ice skating, gingerbread house making, and even swimming. It was just so nice to get out of the house for a few days and do something fun. We definitely needed that after this crazy year! Anyway, today I’m excited to share our simple Christmas kitchen.
Simple Christmas Kitchen
First up, how stinkin’ cute is that red and white reindeer sign?! It was actually much bigger than I anticipated, but I love it. And the wooden frame matches my range hood perfectly! I ordered it from Walmart, along with that beautiful wreath on the hood. I’m actually planning to leave that wreath out after Christmas–I think it totally works for winter! Oh and my little candy jars on the counter are from Walmart too. I bought those in store!
I randomly decided to try this Fresh Cut Frasier candle and I’m so glad I did–it’s amazing. Smells just like a Christmas tree and this jar is huge. I love it!
I still can’t get over what a difference those beams made in here. They’re pretty simple, but DANG. They pretty much changed the whole vibe. And I’m so glad we got them done before the holidays. It’s been really nice to enjoy them along with all my pretty Christmas decor! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed today’s post. And I hope you have an amazing Christmas week. Also be sure to check out Walmart for any last minute holiday decor you might need HERE. They do free two-day shipping on anything over $35!!
Thank you to Walmart for partnering with me on today’s post!
Love it so much, Sarah!

I love the simple decorations for your kitchen, so beautiful. I’m ordering the wreath…just love it!
That’s really pretty and calm looking. I hope your family has a Great Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.
Beautiful, I love the simplicity of it, in most cases less is more. It took me a very long time to figure that out, I’m so happy you figured that out much earlier in life, this little tidbit will serve you well. Sarah, wishing you a very merry Christmas and a blessed, healthy and happy New Year to you and your beautiful family , Love and hugs, Angela🎅🎄🙏
Good Afternoon Sarah
I love what you have done with your kitchen decorating for Christmas. Those beams are to die for, I have saved all the pictures of your house so far…
Very pretty. Simple and uncluttered. Love your light fixtures! A merry Christmas to you and your family.
Sarah, I recently discovered your website and am enjoying reading your very inspiring blogs. Definitely a new follower!
Thank you for sharing with us all.
You have such a lovely and cozy home- the reindeer sign and wreath are gorgeous! I’m having my kitchen cabinets redone by a local cabinet refinisher and am thinking of using a white paint color similar to yours. I absolutely love the way it looks in your kitchen. Do you know the exact color you used?
Hi Sarah, your kitchen is gorgeous! I love the floors throughout your house, can you tell me about them??
Sarah> Kristen Baddeley
It’s called French Oak! We found it at Home Depot of all places. Here’s the link! https://rstyle.me/+b1ZFsa3xxJElxPNk2QBefQ
Your kitchen is just gorgeous! Do you have info on building the range hood anywhere? Also what is your wall colour? 🙂 Thankyou!
