So if you’ve been following along over on IG stories lately, you might know that I’ve been in the most ridiculous and never-ending dilemma with my front entryway. That actually sounds a lot more serious that it really is, BUT I have been struggling with this space for a while now. You might remember that little cabinet I found at an antique store for our entryway several months ago. Well I loved it, but for whatever reason I never could style it in a way that really worked for our small entryway. I don’t know if it’s because it was too big for the spot or maybe my stylin’ skills were just off. Either way I fiddled with that area for way too long before I finally decided to move the cabinet and replace it with something else. And lucky for me, I was browsing on The Home Depot website late one night when I stumbled on one of the most gorgeous wooden chairs I’ve EVER seen. I immediately ordered it and styled it in our entryway for Christmas!
Isn’t she a beauty?! Really, I think this wooden chair is the prettiest chair I’ve ever seen. I love how unique it is and I instantly fell in love the minute I saw it. It has a sandblasted finish, which gives it a very beachy/cottage-y vibe. Plus it reminds me of an old antique with all the details and curves. And it’s actually made from Himalayan sheesham wood! I loooooooove it so much and I think it fits in our small entryway perfectly.
I kinda feel like this chair was the find of the century–I’ve never seen one like it. And can you believe this if from The Home Depot? I was surprised too, but they’re actually carrying a lot of really great home decor and furniture online now. Plus they have tons of holiday decor and everything over $45 ships FREE. You can even shop by room and style, which is super handy.
I wanted to keep this entryway space really simple for Christmas, so I just used of my mini trees, that cute reindeer feed bag, and a couple of stockings. I almost put a throw pillow in that chair, but I just couldn’t stand to cover up all those details and intricate woodwork so I went with a simple blanket instead. Easy peasy, just how I like it!
Well I hope you enjoyed today’s post and maybe got an idea or two for your own home! Thanks so much for stopping by today, I always appreciate it!

The chair is gorgeous! Just wondering, did you paint your chair because it looks quite different from the one on their website that you limked to.
No I didn’t paint it, but it does look quite a bit lighter in person than the photo shows online! It’s definitely more white than cream.
I looooove this chair!!!! What an amazing find! I’m gonna have to take a look at Home Depot! As always I love the way you styled this so cozy and simple. I’ve been eyeing that reindeer feed bag for a while 😉 Thanks for sharing Sarah!
Thanks so much Melissa!! Home Depot for the win on this one!
That chair looks like it came from an antique shop..great find!
doesn’t it Monique?! I still can’t believe it’s from Home Depot.
Looks stunning! Sometimes less is best and with a great piece like this you don’t need to add too much. Enjoy!
I completely agree wth you Jeannie! I find myself learning towards simple decor more and more lately!
Never would have thought that pretty chair would be from the Home Depot! Love the matching bench on their website too! Looks great Sarah!!
Yes!! I love that matching bench. Who knew Home Depot had such great stuff!
Everything is lovely! Just wondering, is the throw blanket orange? It does not look red in the pic. Did u ever think of hanging those stockings at various heights? Noticed the decor on the high chest…lovely! Now I kno what to do with my scale clock.
Thanks for sharing your skills!
It does look slightly orange in these photos bc of the way I edited them! I’ve been playing around with my edits lately. But it’s def red!
Good Morning Sarah

Hi Denise, those are actually from Michael’s!
Such a lovely space. I really like the color of the throw and how it stands out against the white. LOVELY;)
