Restyling My Antique Hutch
Well how was your Easter?! It was actually snowing and freezing cold here yesterday (gotta love Colorado) but we made the most of the day. We watched church online, had lots of a yummy food and stayed in PJs all day long. It was pretty great, despite the fact that we couldn’t do a big family celebration. But that will happen soon enough and we’ll get to have all the celebrations we want once this is over! Anyway, yesterday while we were lounging around the house I decided restyling my antique hutch for spring was a good project to tackle. I added in a few of my favorite antiques and it turned out pretty cute, so I figured why not sure it with you lovely folks today! Here’s how it looked before my little restyle sesh:
Kinda bland huh?! Not much razzle in that dazzle. It definitely needed a refresh. Here’s how it looks NOW:
That adorable seed packet storage box is from Amazon. I snagged it last year and I was so excited to get it out of storage for spring. Isn’t it cute?! I love styling it with a few vintage seed packets and labels.m Unfortunately it isn’t sold anymore, but this set is similar. And the faux potted plants are from Target and only FIVE BUCKS each.
I had fun restyling this little antique hutch for spring. AND best of all it kept me entertained for a bit, which is always a good thing when you’re in stuck inside and quarantined, right?! RIGHT. I LOVE that little seed chest and the seed packets! What a cute idea for spring decor! Here in Virginia we had been having some warm sunny weather which had us in the mood to do yard work and plant some things then it took a turn! Woke up Saturday morning to snow flurries, wind, and cold. Then Easter was cold, rain, and storms so I feel ya! At least warm months are closer than they were. Thanks for bringing some spring though!

Sarah, I love most of your post but was highly disappointed with you and some of your viewers that posted negative comments toward those that gave comments of not being fond of your display in your antique cabinet. Everyone doesn’t think the same but everyone should be welcome to give their response. Yes, I personally liked the before picture myself. I felt it looked cluttered in the after picture, but that is just me. I don’t want to criticize you or your follows but it wasn’t the nice thing to do calling the ones that wasn’t fond of after post negative. Give it some thought please.
