Random Favorites From the Week
Well helllllo there and happy Friday to you!! This post is coming at you much later than normal today because life has been a little crazy this week and I had zero time to work yesterday. Little Aves had a terrible cold, so I’ve just been taking care of her and trying to keep the rest of us healthy. Oh the joys of winter! Anyway, today I wanted to share some random favorites from the week. Some of these are new discoveries I just found and some of them are old things I’ve been loving!
New Vintage Inspired Basket
Several days I go was scrolling Wayfair and came across this awesome vintage inspired laundry basket. I loved it so much and had to order it right away. This reminds me of the vintage basket I have in our living room! I’m not sure where I’ll end up putting this one, but it’s the perfect size for a couple throw pillows. See it HERE.
I also raved about this set of three seagrass baskets on IG stories this week because these are one of my favorite finds from Walmart in 2019. I use these all over our house for extra texture–they’re perfect for a throw blanket or a few pillows! See them HERE.
Favorite Sneakers
I ordered these sneakers in mid December and I can’t even tell you guys how much I LOVE them. Seriously these are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever owned. I’ve been wearing them almost every single day since they came. Unfortunately, they’re sold out from the site I purchased them, but I found them on AMAZON!! I’ll link them HERE. (I’m wearing my normal size and they’re a perfect fit.)
I’ve also been loving these leggings and this cozy tunic hoodie. This is one of my favorite outfits for running errands or just hanging out around the house!

Photo Books
Lately I’ve become obsessed with making photo books!! I use Chatbooks to make all of mine and they’re seriously the best thing everrrrr. I’ve made six books now and I can’t even tell you how good it feels to know I’m getting photos off my phone and actually printed. It’s just a free app you can download and it only takes me about 15 minutes to create a book. I seriously LOVE them. And I have a coupon for you guys too!! You can use SARAHJOY20 to save 20% off your first order.
LifePlanner
You guys know how much I love my Erin Condren LifePlanner–I’ve raved about them for years now. I use mine every day to keep track of appointments, activities for the kids, to-do lists, goal planning etc. I’m such a paper planner nerd, so this is a must in my life. Anyway, I just found this great deal on QVC for a planner plus other goodies to start the new year! This is a crazy good deal, so check it out HERE if you’re looking for a new planner for 2020.
Other Random Favorites:
- I just finished reading this book last week. I read it in three days, which is pretty remarkable considering it usually takes me weeks to finish most books. I will say, the language is rough, but it has some REALLY good points and it definitely changed the way I look at some things.
- Thank you all for the kind words on my new blog design! I’ve been tweaking little things all week long, but I’m LOVING the fresh new feel. Definitely the boost I needed to start 2020!
- My candle, Warm Caramel Crumble is currently 40% off!! Plus free shipping over $75. It’s almost sold out, so you’ll have to hurry if you want to snag it. Once it’s gone, it won’t be back until Fall 2020.
- I want to make this crockpot crack dip this weekend for all the football games!
Well that’s a wrap for me. Thanks so much for hanging out with me today–I hope you have a fabulous weekend. I’ll see you back here on Monday! xo

I am so happy to have ‘found’ your blog. I copied a few Christmas and Winter decors from you and now I have a kitchen, family/living room and foyer to decorate. Modern/calm/home at last….any ideas?
Sarah

Love the new look of your blog. One quick think you may not be aware of – I was trying to find contact info and when I clicked on the About Me portion, it talks about you but the contact info is a photography company.
Sarah
> cindy@countyroad407Oh heavens! Thanks for letting me know. That’s a default page that loads automatically with my old theme.
Sue
I can’t find the title of the book you said you just finished reading…love your blog!
Sarah

Usually I enjoy reading your blog. However, I’m very sorry that I clicked over to see what book you finished in 3 days. Now that book shows in my Amazon search history which then connects other books ‘based on my search history’. Those multiple other books have swear words in THEIR titles, and that makes me very unhappy. If you finish a book & want others to know about it, put the title in your blog, that allows your readers to choose whether they want to click over to see more about it or not. I am very disappointed that I took the ‘bait’!
Sarah
> JanLOh heavens! I didn’t want to type out the title because I knew it would offend people (and I never use that language myself), so that’s why I didn’t specifically mention the name. There was no “bait”! I was only trying to be discreet and respectful. I’m sorry you are so bothered by it.
