My Son’s Cozy Loft!
One of the things I love about this home is that my son has his own little cozy loft/bedroom area that is on the second level our of house. It’s the only room up there, so he has the place all to himself and he LOVES it. I’m actually kinda jealous, because it’s seriously the coolest little room. He has an attached bathroom too, which is so nice. No more sharing a bathroom with his sisters! Anyway, today I wanted to give you guys a look at this cute little space!
Isn’t this the cutest little boys room?! I just love it. It’s simple, but it’s a happy, cozy loft. The views out the window are crazy and it feels so open and bright in here. I’m thinking one day down the line we’ll do something fun to that wall behind his bed, maybe shiplap or a cool wallpaper, but for now it’s just clean and simple. My son has a massive collection of dinosaur toys, so I got this wooden toy chest to give him some extra storage in here. I love the old fashioned barrel top! It reminds me of a toy chest I had when I was a kid. And it’s the perfect size for his room.
We’ve had this rug in his room for a while and it’s holding up so well! He actually helped me pick this out too–he’s a big fan of stripes! It’s from Walmart and there are several sizes available. We have the 5×5.
Like I said, we are obsessed with dinosaurs around here! So when I saw this Dino lamp I knew my son had to have it. How adorable is that?! Also this huge stuffed dino for $10 was another great find for his room.
I’m loving how this room is coming together so far. We’re thinking down the road we might add in a something fun on that back wall, but it’s good for now. He’s thrilled with it and that’s what matters! Anyway, I’m so glad you stopped by the blog today. I hope this gives you an idea or two for your own kiddos’ bedrooms.
