May is kind of a special around here because it marks one year and six months since I started my blog. It was November 2015 when I officially took the leap into the unknown world of blogging and purchased the tools I needed to get started. I published my first post in December 2015 and the rest is history. It’s kind of crazy to think how much has happened in my life since that point and I never would have imagined that I’d be able to leave my job to blog full-time and be home with my kiddos. It’s really been a dream come true. But I’m still incredibly new at this blogging thin and I still have soooooo much to learn.
As I’ve been thinking about this little milestone I thought it would be a good opportunity to do my first ever reader survey to just check in with you guys, see what you’re enjoying here on the blog and what you’d like to see more of in the future. Above all, I want this to be a place that you enjoy and come to for helpful tips, advice, and entertainment. Without all you lovely people that drop in every day, leave comments, pin images to Pinterest, and follow me on social media this blog wouldn’t be possible. And as my blog continues to evolve, I’m always looking for ways to expand my content to include new things you all might enjoy. And of course focus more on the content you love the most.

Hello & Good Morning Sarah! Within the last year, my husband and I were able to purchase our fixer upper. Being our first home, it has brought so much joy and tears. It’s an amazing experience to watch a house transform into a home. I am new to the blog world and over the last few months, I have really enjoyed following your journey sharing your life, DIY projects & beautiful home decor tips. With that being said I too have decided to take the plunge. It is inspiring to see such support from one another. So again, thank you! I have a lot of work ahead to get it up and running but trust that it will be a beautiful experience. Cheers!

I just want to say that I think I stumbled across you from a pinterest post , boy I am a true pinterest gal , love it so much.
I wasn’t really into the full farmhouse look , I just liked certain items here and there around the home but then I stumbled here and because of your beautiful home and how you accessorise, just has me hooked on doing my home full on ..
Right now we are in a rented home but slowly i’m building up items for my new vision for our new home.
We are looking for a fixer upper but since I’m transitioning into a more farmhouse/vintage style I’m finding it so so hard to find a home with the character I wont , Oh man I never realised just how stressful it is, I’m driving my hubby crazy.
God is good and His eye is on that perfect house for me , I just need patience lol!!!

Hi Sarah: Took your survey. You are one of my favorite bloggers. I am in my 50’s and have never considered myself very crafty or creative. I have learned a lot from you. My husband and I have done a lot of upgrading on our 60’s house and have transformed it into something we never thought possible.
