Ok, first I want to thank you all for the incredibly kinds words and excitement over my candle announcement on Monday. I am so grateful for this community and just honored to have so much support from you all. I don’t know if I’ll have time to get back to every single comment and message, but THANK YOU for being excited with me–it truly means so much! Now, how about a little virtual antiquing trip?! I actually went antiquing with my mom a few weeks ago and we visited a couple of my favorite shops. I took photos along the way, so I thought it would be fun to share those with you guys today. Antique shops always inspire me and give me SO many ideas for styling my own vintage finds, so I hope this inspires you too!
Well I hope you enjoyed this little virtual antiquing trip! I love so many of these displays. Like I said earlier, I always feel so inspired when I spend time walking around antique stores. This is one of my favorite ways to get tons of ideas for my own home and it definitely sparks my creativity. I know many of you love vintage finds like I do, so I hope you were inspired too.

a shop near me like that. Very clean and items displayed well. I don’t like to go into antique stores or malls that when you go to reach for a piece, you’re afraid of taking everything around it with you! So I can honestly say I have never seen such a gorgeous place like that! OMG, I would live there and buy one of everything!!

Hi Sarah, I love your blog, the DIY’s, and the antique shopping. I love your white sofa, I bought one but it is constantly dirty. I should have bought a slip covered sofa from PB or C&B. Do you know of anyone that sells slip covers that actually look like it was made for my sofa i.e., it looks like yours rather than some ill-fitting stretchy cover with no shape? I am so disappointed in my couch. Extremely comfortable but always looks stained and grungy as if the dirt somehow is attracted to the sofa.
Oh that’s too bad! I’m sorry to hear that Sherry. I honestly don’t know of any good slipcovers. I bought our white sofas from Ikea and they come with slipcovers. You might check there?
