A Few American Eagle Finds

So I gotta admit, this isn’t the post I was planning on sharing today. I was actually planning to do a huge roundup for my Nordstrom Anniversary sale picks. (If you’re on IG you’re probably seeing a zillion bloggers talk about this sale!) But that plan quickly fizzled out when I went Nordstrom the other day to preview the sale and I was completely turned off by all the craziness. I just couldn’t deal with all the crowds and hype. It definitely wasn’t my vibe, so I left and ended up at American Eagle where things were a little slower paced. I found several cute things, including a couple pairs of jeans and even a few new goodies for fall, so I thought I’d share them with you guys today!

First is this cute crew neck sweatshirt. I couldn’t resist the rainbow colors, so I brought this white one home with me. It’s the perfect weight for cool summer evenings and I know I’ll be wearing this all the time once fall rolls around. It comes in several color options too! I’m also wearing these high waisted jeggings. I bought these as well because I just love the fit. They’re super comfy and the material is nice and stretchy. If you’re in between sizes I suggest going down one for these jeans.

I know we’re still a ways off from cooler weather, but I love this slouchy cardigan. This one also comes in a pretty cream color too. It’s a little shorter than your typical cardigan, but I actually LOVE that because it doesn’t feel so heavy. I’m wearing a size medium. See it here.

I was super tempted by this high waisted leopard wrap skirt. I think it’s SO dang cute. Wouldn’t this skirt be great for fall with a pair of booties and a leather jacket?! The material is super soft too. I’m wearing a size medium here and I paired it with this basic white t-shirt.

I wasn’t expecting to love these high-waisted tomgirl jeans, but holy smokes–I’m obsessed with them! I bought these and wore them all day yesterday. They’re more of a relaxed, boyfriend fit and so comfy. If you’re in between sizes you’d probably be good to go down one. This yellow pocket t-shirt was one of my favorite finds. I bought it in two colors and it’s just the coziest t-shirt. I’m in a small here. It’s also on sale right now for $14!

This oversized plaid button down shirt was another favorite. This comes in a few different color options and it’s seriously the softest thing ever. I also love the distressed and vintage look of it. It definitely runs big, so you can size down and be a-ok. I’m wearing a small.See it here.

Last but not least is this military style jacket. I spent SO long searching for this on the American Eagle website, but sadly I can’t find it anywhere. I’ll keep looking for this exact one, but in the mean time I did find one that’s very similar on Amazon!
