Thanks to Walmart for partnering with me on today’s post.
Last night at 9pm I was laying in bed and got the idea to make a huge batch of iced coffee. Matt and I LOVE iced coffee in the summer, but I’ve never been able to make a good batch at home. So I found a recipe online and decided to order all the supplies to make it today! I went on walmart.com and ordered all the supplies. With my Walmart+ membership everything just got delivered to my door for free this morning. ($35 order min. Restrictions apply)
If you love a good cup of iced coffee, you’re going to want to try out this recipe! It’s SO easy. It’s makes more of a concentrate, so defiantly dilute it!.
ICED COFFEE SUPPLIES
2 gallon jar or food storage container
So first up you need a large two gallon jar or food storage container with a lid. I actually used this massive mason jar and it worked perfectly.
Dump one one pound bag of coffee in the container, then fill it up with cold water. Let the coffee and water sit for about twelve hours. The longer it “brews”, the stronger the coffee will be.
After the coffee has had time to brew, use a fine mesh strainer and cheese-cloth to pour the coffee into a large drink dispenser. The cheese-cloth works great to keep the coffee grounds from mixing in with the coffee.
Store in the fridge and enjoy whenever you need a caffeine fix!
I hope you give this easy recipe a try if you love iced coffee. Mine ended up being a bit strong, much more like a concentrate, so I definitely had to dilute it with water. But it was yummy!!
