Believe it or not, yesterday marked only 21 days til Christmas! Kinda hard to believe, right? It’s going to be here before we know it, so I’m trying hard to soak up this season and just enjoy it as much as possible. We had our first holiday party this weekend and it was honestly so nice to feel like we’re officially in the Christmas season. I love this time of year and I hope you’re enjoying it too!
Today I wanted to share our glowing Christmas living room at night, which I don’t think I’ve ever done before. But it’s just so much prettier at night and that’s really when the room comes to life!
This Christmas I really haven’t bought a lot of new decor. In fact, I think everything in this room, other than these plaid green pillows, is old decor. Oh and I did buy that new digital artwork for my frame TV above the mantel–it was only $5 on Amazon. I feel like I finally have a good collection of Christmas decor that I truly love from year to year, so I don’t need to go out and buy a lot of new stuff.
This is my fourth year with this Christmas tree (this one is 9 feet, but I also have the 7.5 foot tree, which is on sale right now). I LOOOVE it. I don’t even put ornaments on it, I feel like it’s pretty enough on its own it really doesn’t need a lot of extra clutter. My mom has this tree too!
These stocking are from Arhaus two years ago and all the green LED Christmas trees are from Target last year.
It’s costing a fortune in batteries to keep all those glowy trees and twinkle lights going, but it’s worth it. I just love the way this room looks at night with everything sparkling and cozy!

I agree Melanie! It’s so tempting to buy more holiday decor but it’s also great to re-use what we already have. Thankfully I’ve got a nice little collection of Christmas decor I’ve loved for years at this point so I’m pretty much set!
