One thing I’ve realized as I’ve gotten older is that one of the best things we can do for our physical and mental health is eat real, unprocessed food. This is something I’ve focused a lot more on lately and it’s amazing how food really impacts the way we feel. When I eat crap, I tend to feel like crap. Their smoothies are our personal favorite!
SMOOTHIES
All of the Daily Harvest food comes with simple instruction on how to prepare each one. We got several of the smoothies and my favorite was the Chocolate + Blueberry. HOLY SMOKES. This one is amazing. It honestly reminded me of the smoothies I used to get from my favorite fancy schmancy cafe–they were absolutely delicious and these from Daily Harvest are just as good. Hands down better than any smoothie I’ve ever tried to make at home. Just add any liquid of your choice and blend. Plus this one is packed with kale and spinach, so it has 12g of fiber!
My kiddos also love the Peach + Strawberry smoothie! It’s the perfect after school snack, but also great with breakfast.
OAT BOWLS
We also enjoy the Oat Bowls, which can be prepared as overnight oats or hot oatmeal in the morning. These are very filling–packed with protein, fiber, and made with real whole fruits and vegetables. These are awesome in the morning when you don’t have a lot of time, but want a healthy breakfast.

And it’s especially great if your family is on the go a lot–almost everything can be prepared in under five minutes–or if you just want food that is convenient, healthy, and easy to prepare.
