Entryway Refresh with Board and Batten

I love doing projects that only take a few hours, but have a huge impact. INSTANT GRATIFICATION, my friends–I’m all about it. We just did a little entryway upgrade with board and batten and holy smokes it turned out so good. Nothing super fancy, but this small space went from blah and boring to STUNNING. And we did it all in a single afternoon. Here’s a before photo of the entryway:

This is obviously a very small space, but still lots of potential on that blank wall. Here is the after:

So pretty, right?! Matt added this simple board and batten, just like the did in the dining room. (He used .5″ x 3.5″ primed fiber board.) Added a few hooks, fresh paint, badda-boom-badda-bing. Super easy, but huge change!

I love how board and batten adds so much character right when you come in the front door. And I love how it ties into the board and batten we did in the dining room. Now I want to do the hallways! 🙂
