Cozy Desk Space for Fall

I know we’re still a little ways off from fall, but August means back to school around here, so it feels like quasi-fall. It kinda feels like a fall mindset, but still very much feels like summer. It’s a weird space to be in. When I was a kid we always started school after Labor Day, which is how it should be if you ask me. But since no one’s asking, let’s move on with this post. I was cleaning our bedroom yesterday and got to re-styling the little shelves and desk space. I sourced it up and made it feel a little more inviting for the upcoming fall season.

This arched wall decal is from Amazon and it’s such a nifty little thing. It goes right on the wall like peel+stick wallpaper. And it’s held up really well! I’ve had it there for over a year now. Those wooden shelves are from Target and the perfect size to go over the decal.

Bringing in the green swivel chair makes this feels waaaaay more inviting, right? I had a little bistro chair here, which was great, but I love the look and feel of this desk space with the cozy chair. It fits well enough and makes for a much more comfortable experience while you’re sitting at the desk. Perfect for cozying up with a blanket and a good book!
