Black Paint in the Drop Zone

Do you ever walk by a room or space in your home and something just feels off? It didn’t feel off before, but all of a sudden it feels off. You know what I mean?! Well that happened to me this weekend when I walked by our little drop zone area. For some reason, the minty blue paint just wasn’t jiving with me anymore. It felt kinda out of place, so I got the itch to paint it black. I got it done this afternoon and I’m excited to show you! Here’s how it looked before:

And here’s how it looks now with the black paint:

Such a change right?! I loooove it so much and it feels right now. It totally pulls in the black from our kitchen island! And the high contrast is so pretty. I love the wood, black and white combo.

Thanks so much for dropping by the blog. I’d love to hear what you think of this little makeover!! I also posted a little reel with this makeover on Instagram here.

So sorry about your Jamm. Remember that she is in your heart and when things get tough or happy moments; think what would Jamm say /do? This has always gotten me through the times I wanted to call my grandmother.
And most of all, remember she is with God.
