Oh heeeeyyyyy there Friday. Nice to see you again. What took ya so long, huh? Let me tell you, it’s been a long week around here. It hasn’t been overly busy, thank goodness, it’s just been one of those weeks that goes by at a snail’s pace. You know the kind, they just seem to inch along in slow motion. I’m not sure why, but it probably has something to do with my new self-imposed schedule that has me getting up at 5AM. Yep, I survived the first week. It turns out getting up that early isn’t so bad after all. Wait. I can’t believe I just typed those words. Who am I kidding, it’s awful. Especially when you’re pregnant and sleep is like the best thing in the world other than ice cream. Nothing beats ice cream. But I will say my body is slowly getting used to it and I’m actually finding that I’m way more productive in this new schedule. I’ve been doing this amazing e-course that’s teaching me so much about time management, getting the most out of my day, and focusing on my priorities without getting distracted with other “clutter” in life. It’s been so good and I can’t wait to share more about it with you guys. I’ve always struggled with time management and productivity, but this week I was busting through my to-do list like a Jedi, taking things down left and right. So that was pretty cool. Wanna know what else is cool? Pretty light fixtures. Light fixtures that are affordable AND look like they belong in an episode of Fixer Upper. That’s what I’m here to talk about today my friends–the best farmhouse style lighting.
In order from left to right, starting at the top:
- Driftwood Chandelier
- Wooden Globe Chandelier
- Corbeille Stardust Chandelier
- Large Wood Bead Chandelier
- Martin 5 Light Candle Chandlier
- Distressed Wooden Chandlier
- Wood Beaded Corinne Chandelier
- Cloey 3 Light Candle
- Black 9 Light Chandelier
- Metal Light Pendant
- Brisco Candle Chandlier
- Vintage White Wooden Chandelier
I’ve actually had this post sitting in my drafts for a while now. Honestly, I almost forgot about it. But I’m so glad I dug it out because these lights are all so gorgeous AND affordable. In my last post I talked about the huge impact a good light fixture can make on any room, so I won’t get into it again here. But I promise, you won’t regret investing in a purdy light, especially if you’re transitioning to a farmhouse style look in your home. They really are one of the easiest and most affordable ways you can update any room.
So glad to have you stop by the blog today! I’d love to have you join me over on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Afternoon, man oh man, I thought I knew what kind of light I wanted in the kitchen and dining room! Now I am rethinking things, there are 4 here I really really like!
Which is why my hubby takes projects slow, because he knows 9 times out of 10, I’ll change my mind on something.
Now, the getting up at 5……nope, unless it’s Christmas, vacation or shopping! LOL
These are super cute, I especially like the wood bead one! 🙂 I can’t wait to hear more about your e-course and your time management. I should probably start doing the early morning thing, but I just can’t bring myself to! Haha. I love my lazy mornings.
