Traditional Summer Front Porch

One of my favorite things about our home is the cozy little front porch. Our old house only had a single step, so my options were alway super limited when it came to decorating. But now I have the room and I’ve been loving it! I just styled the porch up for summer and I went with a very traditional, American style look. I wanted the white rocking chairs, American flag, rose bushes, and lots of potted flowers. It came together pretty darn cute and I’m excited to share it with you guys today!!

These white rocking chairs were on my wish list for a while. I really just wanted the classic country look and you can’t get that without rocking chairs. These are super comfy–especially with the high back. Lately this has my favorite coffee spot in the morning!

I kept decor pretty simple and budget friendly here–big woven lanterns, bright pillows (only $14 each!), white farmhouse tray, and lots of flowers. Easy peasy lemon squeezey.

I bought this chevron coffee table and bench from Walmart when it was on sale recently and I love them!! They’re the perfect size for the porch, plus the wood is really sturdy.

If you need me, I’ll be right here–sipping my coffee and watching the clouds roll by. I just love this simple and traditional summer front porch so much. I hope it maybe gives you a few ideas for your own home this summer! xo

PS: if you love the chevron bench and table, check out this super pretty outdoor decor line at Walmart and everything ships free! They have tons of affordable patio decor with that same design. Also more great summer home decor HERE.

Thank you to Walmart for partnering with me on today’s post!

Wonderful spot to read yourself or to the kids. Just set and watch the day go by! A wonderful place to cross stitch with all that light! Just enjoy it in your style!
Wait till those kittens get out there!

Hi, I’d like to ask where to buy that small slatted side table. I’m looking at many on Wayfair but for some reason they’ll be unavailable for 30+ weeks!

Such a cute spot!! Great place to sit and read!
We have been enjoying our front porch as well. Our porch is 40 ft long( length of our home) and 10 feet wide. One end has three rockers with bright yellow chair pads. The other end has a white wicker sofa, table and chairs. A blue and white carpet under the sofa. My favorite pillow, white with black writing , front porch sitting’, sits on the sofa. There is also a table for four. We eat many of our summer meals here. There are plants and a lantern on the porch. Always look forward to spring and summer so we can enjoy it!! Now, if only the yellow pollen would disappear!!!
