I love a good ol’ fashioned red and black button-up this time of year. There are just SO many ways to wear it, not to mention it’s the perfect color combo for the holiday season. It’s definitely a closet staple of mine. I was playing around with clothes today and I thought it would be fun to share three outfit ideas with a red button-up. Hopefully this gives you some new ideas!! I’m wear this great $15 button-up in size large for all of these looks.
First up, and probably my most worn look this time of year, is simply layering a button-up with a chunky sweater. It’s just the perfect combo if you ask me. This is a great basic black sweater–not too thick, not too thin. It’s perfect.

Next up, I layered it under this long cardigan. This cardigan is only $17 and it comes in a few colors. And of course that red and green combo is perfect for this time of year!

And lastly, I styled it over this super comfortable sweater dress. I love love love this dress!! It’s so comfortable. And the red button-up goes perfectly with it for a fun and more casual vibe. I need to grab these boots with a bit more heel to go with the dress.
