You know what’s crazy? We’ve had the NICEST weather in Colorado this fall. I’m talking straight sun and blue skies day after day after day with 70-80 degree temps. It’s been glorious and honestly this weather is completely redeeming my love for Colorado. Especially after the brutal spring/first half of summer weather we had with record setting rainfall and gloom every day for weeks on end. It’s been GLORIOUS. Anyways, today I’m sharing our simple and small front porch decorated for fall. I always hesitate sharing this little space because the truth is it’s tiny and barely qualifies as a “porch”. But I still love to decorate it as the seasons change! And maybe it will give you an idea or two for your own home.
So we kinda have two “layers” if you will to our porch. I like to do a little something on the front layer just to add some extra pizzaz. I found those little hay bails at Walmart, which I’ve seen for years but never bought. They’re cute, right?
striped basket // white rocking chair
similar ‘gather’ doormat // green plaid doormat
I’ve had this old white vintage barrel for years now. I’ve used it on the porch a few times and also as a base for Christmas trees over the years. I thought it would be fun to flip it upside down and use it as a little table for the pumpkins. I just added a fall scarf (found at the Target Dollar Spot years ago) to help spruce it up a bit.
Well there ya have it–a very simple and easy front porch for fall!! Thanks for dropping by the blog. Hope you come back sooooon. xoxo
