We are home from our vacation to Rosemary Beach and it feels soooo good to be back. We ended up having to stay an extra night because our flight was cancelled and there were no other flights out, so the trip ended up being a bit longer than we planned. But it all worked out and it just feels good to be back home. I’m slowly getting back in the swing of things and I wanted to share the new light in our living room! For a while now I’ve wanted to switch out the ceiling fan for something with a bit more warmth and personality. We rarely use the fan, so it wasn’t really serving much of a purpose. Here’s how it looked before:
And here’s how it looks now:
Ahhhh I love it so much. This pendant is light and airy, but it sure does make a big statement. I’m smitten with the rattan, boho vibes lately and I feel like this really pulls everything together in this room with the warm wood tones and browns.
This was such a simple, quick change but dang what a difference it made in this room! I love it so much. I’d love to hear what you think!

I absolutely LOVE that light fixture. I’ve said it before, but I pull so much inspo from your home and this makes me really excited to shop for our dining room pendant! Beautiful post.
ah thank you so much Kelsey!!
Rattan pendant? Love it!
Sarah, I absolutely love the living room!! I’m not going for the same style but I am going for the same colors, although a deeper wood color. I love the boho look but I’m in my 60’s and my husband would freak out..lol!
You did a beautiful job!
I just bought a new dining room table (well I got it for Xmas) and I’m getting ready to purchase the new chairs all in creamy white, dark rattan and black. I won’t get the table for another month but I’m so excited to get the room together. I may have to change out the chandelier but I may not. I really won’t know until I pull it all together.
Oh Shirley, your dining room sounds like it will be great!! You know I love rattan. Enjoy your new space!
